Miss Ellis was Miss Talladega County's Outstanding Teen 2010 and as an at-large contestant, she was a top ten semi-finalist at the Miss Alabama's Outstanding Teen Pageant 2011.

Madge Ellis is a junior at Sylacauga High School where she is a varsity cheerleader.  She plans to attend Auburn University and major in architecture and interior architecture and plans to become a designer for hospitals and special needs facilities.  Her talent is classical piano.

Miss Ellis' platform is Be Involved Today and she is an advocate for volunteerism.  One
of her accomplishments has been collecting personal hygiene items and making B.I.T.
kits for more than 750 individuals in her community as well as individuals who have suffered from the April 27 tornadoes in Alabama in the Tuscaloosa community.
